WALLINGFORD ANIMAL SHELTER

The shelter is staffed Monday - Friday 8:30 AM to 6 PM, and public hours are 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Weekends are staffed 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and only open to the public by appointment. During these hours we are available to answer questions, respond to complaints, and give you information on our adoptable pets.
In the event of an emergency, there is always an Animal Control Officer available. If we are not in the office, and you need immediate assistance, contact the Wallingford Police Department at 203-294-2800.
Please note that we no longer allow walk-throughs to view our adoptable animals, please see "Adoption" for more information. Our adoptable pets can be viewed on Petfinder.com. If you have any questions, please contact us at 203-294-2180.

I adopted my dog Lucky from Wallingford Animal Control a few months ago. The people are wonderful! I could immediately see how much they care for animals. They are wonderful at matching animals with people. Lucky is a perfect fit in my life and I couldnt be happier with him. I also noticed how clean and organized they are, I have been to many shelters and animal controls and this one by far was the best I have seen. I would recommend WAC to anyone :)
